Missionary Work in Bolivia

Worldwide Missionary Outreach has done work in Bolivia for a number of years.  We made a trip through there in the early nineties and had a wonderful time of fellowship with many of the believers there.  We lost contact with the brothers there for some time, but in the fall of 2002 after several invitations, we started sending teams of missionaries.  Shortly thereafter we began airing the Spoken Word Broadcast to get the Word of God out to the people.

In the spring of 2003 we held a convention in La Paz.  Believers from all over Bolivia came as well as saints from the surrounding countries.  We were happy to see the turnout, but what we were most happy with was the number of unbelievers who came.  Many of these were products of the broadcast, and others came after receiving one of the many tracts we handed out on the street.  Many souls came to know the Lord Jesus and we give God the Glory.  The pastors from around Bolivia asked us to please hold another convention in the spring of 2004 which we did.  We were able to bring twenty-seven missionaries to help us with the services.  Once again the Lord did many wonderful things, adding souls to His kingdom.

We have seen the Lord do great things in Bolivia.  One of these that thrills our hearts is to see restored fellowship amongst the different pastors and churches there.  The effects of the Word of God through the mouth of His prophet always amazes us.  Many of the pastors have asked for help in becoming better established on the pure Word of God.  We are thankful to be a part of what God is doing in the country of Bolivia.  Please keep this endeavor in your prayers.

Spoken Word Broadcast

We had Bro. Branham’s voice going out over the airwaves in Bolivia continually from February 2003 through December 2004.  During this two year period we saw many wonderful things come out of them.

WMO Office

WMO has recognized a need for central meeting places for the pastors as well as the church members who are so often spread out from one another. Also, with the radio broadcasts, we needed a place to direct the correspondence. We set up an office in La Paz to meet some of these needs.

Testimonies

Last year we met a man named Telesforo Cruz Calle who works with the police department.  He said that he grew up an orphan in the neighborhood where our first convention was held.  The woman who raised him owned a bakery and still lives in the same neighborhood.  His testimony was that while walking that same street he saw the banner for the meetings and went in.  He regretted that after attending the meetings he didn’t ask anyone for an address where the people gathered.  He asked the Lord to help him find the people from the convention again.  One day while leaving the police station to start his patrol he found a flyer on the street with the same logo from the banner that had drawn his attention to the convention.  On the flyer was the address to the WMO office in La Paz.  He thanked the Lord for helping him find what he was searching for.  He took some books of Bro. Branham from the office and returned a short time later.  He said he was tired of the denominations and wanted to fellowship with us.   He comes once a week to ask about the missionaries so that he can pray for them.
