![]() The church building pictured here is in a little community about 90 miles west of Chicago. It was built in 1896. This location served as the home office for WMO for many years. |
The church building
that Faith Tabernacle meets in was purchased in the late fall of
1975. Bro. John Martin felt to move the meeting place from Harvey,
Illinois to its current location. Bro. Larry Aaron was the assistant
pastor at that time. The late Reverend Ralph Quest was instrumental
in helping Bro. John secure the financing for this building from a
local bank. Bro. Quest was a trustee for Oral Roberts' ministries for
many years. Sometime around 1956 his wife was healed during one of
Bro. John and Bro. Earl Martin's early crusades.
Bro. Ron Perry is currently the local pastor at Faith Tabernacle in Genoa and is also the senior coordinator for WMO. Bro. John Bonk is an associate pastor there and is the WMO coordinator for Colombia. Bro. Don Furan is also an associate pastor in Genoa, as well as being a missionary and having a prison ministry. Many of the members of this congregation travel 180 miles to church. They have faithfully made this 3.5 hour drive for over 25 years. Many of the WMO ministers are located in this area and attend church here regularly. The annual WMO June meetings are held here every year the week of the third Wednesday in June. All are invited to attend. |
