May 3, 2020

Dear Saints,

Greetings to you all in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are certainly in unprecedented times with the entire world feeling the effects from the COVID-19.  We have been doing our best to be safe and to follow the recommendations set forth from the government. This has been hard on us all, especially with the disruption to our usual assembling together at church resulting in a lack of fellowship and togetherness.

However, as the Apostle Paul stated, we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. This time of hardship has pressed us to explore many new advances in technology allowing us to broadcast simultaneously from many places. This has been something we have wanted to do for a long time, and now we have the know how to get it done. It has also seemed to remind us all how dearly we love each other and need each other, and we look forward to things returning to normal as soon as possible.

We do need to make some decisions going forward and have waited as long as we could in order to make the best decision based on the latest information. We have decided on a plan for our Worldwide Missionary Outreach annual missionary convention in Genoa, Illinois this coming June. As most of you know these meetings are pivotal in our missionary planning, ministers’ meetings, fellowship, healings, deliverance, and salvation. We have seen the Lord do so much for us all over the years at these services. They are hosted by the local pastor Bro. Ron Perry and the local body there in Genoa, and they always do a wonderful job of taking care of us all.

This year we are forced to do things differently and we wanted to inform you of our plans now so that you can all plan accordingly. We will be doing the services this year by broadcast from Genoa, with our other groups joining in from their respective churches. This will keep us all involved, without over crowding of any one church which would put us at risk according to the distancing recommendations. We will be able to use our team from their local churches in Idaho, Washington, Alaska, and even in other countries around the world. We understand that some of you may have already purchased tickets to come to Genoa, and that is fine if you have, but for those of you who haven’t, we ask you to please remain home and support our services from your local churches. The meetings will be held on the weekend of the 19th-21st and we will announce the specific days and times when we get a little closer.

Finally, we ask that you all begin to pray for these upcoming services. Many times, we do not like change and cannot understand the things that God is doing. But we have seen Him do such wonderful things that we simply rest in His plan – knowing that His ways are perfect. Let us get to a place of great expectation for what the Lord is going to do this year through these strange times. We believe with all our hearts that God is in control, and He has reasons for allowing these things to come. May He get the Glory from our lives is our prayer. May God richly bless you.

Yours in His service,

Bro. Daniel Martin, Bro. Ron Perry, and the leadership of WMO
