“And I tell you, that’s the reason God was made flesh, here on earth, in order to hold the stinger of death. And now the—death has no more sting. The bee can swarm and buzz, but he can’t sting. “O death, where is thy sting? Grave, where is thy victory?” But Christ, the kinsman Redeemer has made a way of escape for every believer on this earth today.” WMB
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:55-58
The storms may rage, the winds may blow,
Cares of life come against my soul.
In troubled times I know just where to stand,
No safer place to be than in God’s hands.
In God’s hands, I’m in good hands,
My soul is safe and secure.
In God’s hands, sweet assurance,
It’s good to know I’m in God’s hands.
Sometimes it seems a trial lasts so long,
It scarcely passed and then I face another one.
But when I’ve done the very best I can,
It’s time to leave it in God’s hands.
